Nutrition exploration is about educating and promoting healthy and nutritional eating to parents, their children, and others who are concerned about fostering a healthier society, through channels such as the media, physician, dietarians, nurses, schools, and kindergartens.

Nutrition exploration is becoming more and more common over the past couple years because statistics shows that approximately 30.3% of children ages between 6-11 years olds are overweight and 15.3% are obese. |
Obesity in children and adolescents are becoming a serious issue with many health and social consequences such as diabetes, hypertension, and other obesity-related chronic diseases which will often continue into adulthood. Therefore, it is important to implement preventions programs so parents and the children themselves get a better understanding of eating habits to prevent this from happening.
