Nutrition Exploration

Nutrition exploration is about educating and promoting healthy and nutritional eating to parents, their children, and others who are concerned about fostering a healthier society, through channels such as the media, physician, dietarians, nurses, schools, and kindergartens.

Nutrition exploration is becoming more and more common over the past couple years because statistics shows that approximately 30.3% of children ages between 6-11 years olds are overweight and 15.3% are obese.

Obesity in children and adolescents are becoming a serious issue with many health and social consequences such as diabetes, hypertension, and other obesity-related chronic diseases which will often continue into adulthood. Therefore, it is important to implement preventions programs so parents and the children themselves get a better understanding of eating habits to prevent this from happening.

Nutrition exploration encourages children and their parents to participate together in great activities designed in a way to explore a wide range of topics to help them to learn more about living healthily.
There are also programs which provide resources for media, physician, dietarians, nurses, schools, and kindergartens to help children understand, learn, and improve their nutritional habits.

Keeping up with family's busy schedules and making good nutritional food is a challenge. Many nutrition programs are designed with the entire family in mind, to help them make healthy eating a real family
affair. The program hopes to provides information on meal planning, suggestions for helping children make health food choices, nutrition tips for the day, and information about the importance of breakfast.
